I was born in 1978 in Prague.
From 1993–1997, I studied at the Secondary School of Art and Design in Prague, and from 1997–2003, I continued my studies at the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague, specializing in architecture and design.
Between 2003–2009, I worked on private architectural projects. In 2010, I moved to Germany, where I have been living ever since.
I have been fully dedicated to my artistic practice, and since 2018, I have combined my artwork with teaching drawing and painting.
I create primarily abstract paintings, focusing on the layering of acrylic paints to build rich, three-dimensional textures. Multiple layers of color add depth, movement, and a tactile quality to the surface. I often incorporate metallic tones, which bring light, reflections, and dynamic shifts depending on the viewing angle.
I am inspired by the idea that everything around us is made up of countless small particles. Each particle on its own may seem insignificant, yet when they come together, they form shape, emotion, energy, and matter.
This concept guides my approach to painting:
every brushstroke, texture, and layer is like one of these particles—modest on its own, but together they create a cohesive, living whole that carries an atmosphere and a story.
Through my abstract work, I aim to convey a sense of connection, harmony, and movement, arising from the interaction of these layered elements.
